The Pilot Plus team are pleased to announce EGFH Swansea Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The airport sits on the edge of the Welsh Gower, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This makes the airport perfect for incredible scenic flights around Wales and beyond.
Swansea Airport was originally built during the Second World War and served as a day and night fighter station. Now the airport serves general aviation traffic, flight training and skydiving, but in recent years was used by Air Wales who invested significantly into the airport.
The Pilot Plus team were fortunate to receive a full guided tour of the entire airport from ground staff, gathering detailed references. This great reference is allowing the team to recreate the airport in Microsoft Flight Simulator to the highest level of detail and accuracy possible. The airport will be a faithful replica and include a true to life interior of the control tower, airport reception and café.
